Horage is Giving Away 6 Prototype Watches to Raise Money to Feed Ukraine Refugees via CrowdFarming
Good watchmaking for a good cause.
Independent Swiss watchmaker Horage is holding a contest to give away 6 finished prototype Supersede watches with all proceeds going to feed Ukraine refugees during this crisis. Starting at just one dollar, you’ll be entered to win one of six micro-rotor pieces that are among the first-ever produced. Talk about exclusive! Horage is working directly with CrowdFarming to source fresh food from independent European farmers, which will be distributed by Polish charities and even citizens isolated in Ukrainian cities. CrowdFarming is covering all shipping and logistics costs to get food directly to Ukrainians as fast as possible.
CrowdFarming and Food Distribution
To date, CrowdFarming has delivered over 71 tons of food through three organizations. With the help of the watch community, Horage wants to dramatically increase this in the coming weeks. World Central Kitchen has delivered 15.44 tons of food and over 1 million meals, The Food Bank Zywnosci has delivered 36.51 tons of food and Caritas Lazajsk has delivered 19.61 tons.
How to Enter
Starting on March 22nd at 14:00CET with just a one-dollar donation, you’ll be entered to win one of six Supersede prototypes. Every dollar is equal to one ticket, so $10 equals 10 tickets, $100 equals 100 tickets and so on. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win. There is no donation limit and all tickets will be placed in a draw for six lucky winners during a live event on Horage’s official YouTube channel. The exact date will be announced soon, but will fall between April 6th and April 11th, 2022. Donation entries close on April 5th at 14:00CET, so don’t miss this opportunity to win an exceptional watch and most important, send food to Ukrainians in need. All money raised will go directly to Ukraine in April 2022 and winners will receive their watches in 2023. Visit Horage’s dedicated webpage to enter.
Horage Supersede Micro-Rotor
Each Horage Supersede watch is valued at CHF 6,500, so the total giveaway is worth CHF 39,000. The goal is to raise substantially more for Ukraine. One of each colour will be part of the drawing – 12:00 White, 24:00 Black, Transatlantic Blue, Atoll Blue, Jet Stream Grey and Boreal Green – and will be randomly selected for winners. Specifications start with a 904L stainless steel case at 39.5mm in diameter and 9.85mm in height with a rotating diver’s bezel. The dial has four complications – GMT, day/night indicator, date and power reserve indicator. Horage’s own K2 micro-rotor calibre is accurate to a chronometer level (-4/+6 seconds per day), has an anti-magnetic, wear-resistant silicon escapement, features 23 jewels, beats at 25,200vph (3.5Hz) and has a sizeable 72-hour power reserve. It comes with an integrated steel bracelet with a new, on-the-fly micro-adjustment mechanism that is tool-free.
Horage is no stranger to incredible giveaways. Last year, the company gave away three finished Tourbillon 1 prototypes to lucky winners to raise money to help the local watchmaking school in Grenchen purchase new equipment. It’s the company’s way to give back to the community and with the Supersede contest, donations are going to an incredibly important cause. Don’t miss your chance to win a Swiss micro-rotor sports watch and help those in crisis. As Horage says, “With your help, we can do so much more!”
